We’re excited to announce that we will soon have stock of organic rapadura sugar sourced from Colombia.
Rapadura sugar (sometimes referred to as panela), is an unrefined cane sugar that is produced by evaporation of water from the organic cane juice. Rapadura is a lovely golden colour, fine grained in texture, has a natural caramel flavour and can replace other refined sugars for all traditional uses.
As it is less processed, rapadura is said to retain more of the vitamins and minerals and is high in iron.
